Please read the information below carefully. This is where we explain the issues around tickets and purchase, on site rules, use of images and other Swingamajig related things.


Swingamajig (UK) Ltd reserves the right to change all, or any, arrangements concerning Swingamajig tickets without notice. The following terms and conditions apply to all events events presented on the “Swingamajig 2018!” ticket purchase page; Swingamajig Festival, Swingamajig Afterparty, Stomp Stomp Swing Dance Classes and the Aerial Silks Taster Class.

All Swingamajig tickets are non refundable. Any such action is at the discretion of Swingamajig (UK) Ltd. However, refunds are normally made available up to 4 weeks ahead of the event start date. Only tickets bought from the website, or our official agent will be valid – Please do not buy tickets from any other source, forum, eBay etc.


The Ticket Sellers (08448700000 / www.theticketsellers.co.uk) is our sole ticket agent.

Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person. Swingamajig (UK) Ltd reserves the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number, and for any other reason.

*All ticket prices are “face value” amounts and all ticket types are subject to additional booking fees.

In order to attend Swingamajig Festival, You must me at least 18 years of age. Under no circumstances will under 18’s be permitted entry. Photo ID may be required (at the discretion of gate staff) for people who do not appear to be 21. Swingamajig (UK) Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission and may conduct security searches upon entry.

Identification may be required and must be Drivers Licence, Passport, or one of the following cards [part of the PASS Scheme www.pass-scheme.org.uk] CitizenCard, VALIDATE UK, Connexions Card, Young Scot.

** “Free Carer Tickets” are available to attendees on DLA middle or higher rate allowances (proof required at the gate). An accessible entrance is provided for those with mobility and other specific needs.

Last entry is 8pm, if you arrive after this time you may be refused entrance to the festival.

Cancellation, Misuse and Refunds

In the event of the unforeseen cancellation of the event, tickets are automatically transferable to a future event, at the discretion of Swingamajig (UK) Ltd.

Although we will do our best to keep you informed of any cancellation, it is the ticket holders’ responsibility to establish whether an event has been cancelled and the date and time of any rearranged event. Swingamajig (UK) Ltd has no obligation to refund any monies or exchange tickets should the event dates or program be altered, or varied, for any reason and to any extent.

All ticket and refund enquiries must be directed to the official agent from whom tickets were purchased.

Swingamajig (UK) Ltd is unable to accept any liability to replace any tickets lost, stolen, damaged or used after they have been received. In the case of Swingamajig Festival’s E-Tickets (barcodes), it is your responsibility to keep your ticket and barcode to yourself. They are unique one-use codes, if you have purchased multiple tickets only share one bar code per individual you wish to gain entry. Once entry to any event is granted via the unique barcode ticket it is invalidated and any  further persons with the same code will be refused entry.

Site Rules

“Site rules” apply to festival areas, which include the published fire policy and personal conduct – such as acceptable noise levels. Site rules must be observed. We reserve the right to eject individuals or groups either disobeying the site rules or displaying antisocial behaviour.

Fires are not permitted in any part of the Swingamajig Festival’s site.

No animals are permitted anywhere on site. (Registered guide dogs are an exception to this rule).

No glass is permitted on site, searches may be carried out on entry. Any items which are not allowed into the event are the responsibility of the owner. We cannot accept responsibility for your belongings.

Swingamajig (UK) Ltd adopts a sustainable approach towards the organisation and running of the event and therefore encourages all the patrons to support and participate in recycling initiatives. We ask the patrons to respect our policies and use the bins provided as instructed. We run a re-useable cup scheme with a £1 levy applied to your first drink. This pays for the delivery, collection and washing of the cups (without impacting drinks prices) and saves thousands of disposables entering the waste stream. No littering is acceptable and any one found persistently littering may be publicly shamed and even be asked to leave.

Smoking is not permitted inside venues (including toilets, offices, changing rooms and all working areas). Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas only (signed appropriately).

Swingamajig Festival and Swingamajig (UK) Ltd have a no drugs policy and reserve the right to eject anyone suspected of infringement of this policy.

Anti-social, aggressive or violent behaviour will not be tolerated towards staff or other members of the public, anyone acting in such a manner will be ejected.

Any persons deemed to be drunk and intoxicated maybe be refused entry to the site and or ejected.

Smiling is encouraged.

Items which you cannot bring to the Festival

  • Glass – we do not allow glass on site for safety reasons
  • Excessive amount of cigarettes or tobacco [any amount over personal use for the duration of the festival]
  • Alcohol – we do not allow patrons to bring any alcohol on site
  • Any items with an intention to retail without prior arrangement
  • Nitrous oxide
  • Sound systems [without written approval from the Festival]
  • Unauthorised goods with the Swingamajig logo
  • Body piercing equipment
  • Candle flares [without written approval from the Festival]
  • Fireworks
  • Generators
  • Lasers
  • Drugs
  • Anything deamed by doorstaff to be a weapon


All attendees must adhere to the rules and regulations of the venues, the event organisers (Swingamajig (UK) Ltd) and of Swingamajig Festival.

It is the responsibility of attendees to check door opening and closing times – which may change without notice. Ticket holders will not be admitted outside of these times. It is the attendee’s responsibility to check gate times as published on the website.

Swingamajig (UK) Ltd, Swingamajig Festival and our official agents can accept no responsibility for any personal property. Please do not bring unnecessary valuable items or excessive amounts of cash, as card payments are available at some bars.

Ticket holders consent to video filming, photography and sound recording as members of the “audience”. The audience has no rights to these images or recordings, and agrees to the use of these images and recordings by Swingamajig (UK) Ltd.

We store your data when purchasing tickets. This data will be treated in accordance with our privacy and data protection policy and will not under any circumstances be given to a third party. We may contact you with Swingamajig related news.

ROAR – Right of admission reserved by Swingamajig (UK) Ltd and Swingamajig Festival at all times.

Swingamajig (UK) Ltd reserves the right to change all, or any on site arrangements.

All of these terms and conditions are governed by English law.
